Cloudelay is a performance measurement platform for Content Delivery Networks (CDN). With the rise of pay-as-you-go utility computing, CDNs have become accessible to everyone. We provide comparison and diagnostics for several CDNs. In the future we will aggregate the measurements to give you a global picture of the CDN performance.

Cloudelay (beta) opens door

Today we have launched Cloudelay with diagnostic tools for Amazon's S3 and CloudFront. We are actively working to build useful diagnostics for other CDNs. You may take a sneak peek at our development pages for Azure CDN, Cloud Files and SimpleCDN. 17 December 2009

Look-up your resolver

We now have a in-browser solution to look-up your DNS resolver. The permanent home for this new feature is Network Tools. We have also added an Applet to look-up your internal IP address (on Windows). 23 November 2009

GoGrid launches Pay-as-you-go CDN

GoGrid added a new pay-as-you-go CDN to their cloud services. The network currently consists of POPs at 14 locations and has support for CNAMES and an API. SSL, private content and advanced reporting can be added separately for a monthly fee. Pricing is higher than for other pay-as-you-go CDNs. 12 November 2009

Azure CDN announced

Microsoft has just entered into the growing CDN market as part of their Azure cloud computing program. Azure CDN. Azure CDN is similar to Cloud Files as it is served by Limelight Networks. It has 18 POPs and support for CNAMEs. 5 November 2009
